Unearth UnderEarth!

For a few months after February the progress started to decline, however this past month the game has changed quite a lot and it shows no signs of slowing down! If all goes well I should have even more to show in 2015! I'll keep you updated!

The game isn't usually this dark looking, for some reason the video rendered a little darker than I was expecting.

Logos

New art page coming soon, been working on some logos, the page is going to be solely art and nothing else (kind of like a better version of my DeviantArt page).

Slumber Cosmos, (Update: April/2012).

UPDATE

So here I am with another Slumber Cosmos update, this time with videos! Now you can see the game flowing in action, it's being played on my TV with a PS3 pad. In this video you'll see the last half of Cinder Village, a cool interactive cut scene with a rocket, a bit of the boss fight with Ignis Tawaki and a little preview of the brand new level, so new in fact I haven't decided on the name yet!

The next video is music for special level 4 (VOID). Here you can hear the BGM playing on FLstudio. Unfortunately because of the size of this project all the music for the game is in MIDI format, which means you won't be hearing any dubstep or heavy metal in the game (as awesome as that would be). In all seriousness the music is there for atmosphere, to set the mood if you will. I've tried my very hardest to make the music really catchy and fun to listen to, and if you ask me, I don't think I've done too bad... But I'll let you be the judge...

Slumber Cosmos, (Update: March/2012).

UPDATE

Here's some new stuff added to the game, although the amount of levels hasn't changed a great deal, a lot of cool stuff has been added to the game... Here's a few of them...

New title screen! Scenes alternate, here we can see the desert area.

NEW LEVEL

The outdoor portion of the lava themed level.
Speaking of the lava themed level, here is the indoor section! This level is the hardest so far!!

ITEM SCREEN
So here's the item screen, it pops up when you pause the game. However, it's looking quite empty at the moment... Let's get some items!
Okay, so we're in the item shop, let's buy those red squares, they work in a similar way to the switch blocks in Super Mario World... you know...
these ones...
Anyway... as you can see, after you buy them they pop up in your inventory section on your item screen (as indicated by my arrow followed by the word... yay)
Okay so, say you beat the "Driller Boss" and you get the Light Shoes...

followed by the fragment at the end of the level...
These will also then be visible on the item screen, just to make it that bit easier to keep track of progress...

So there we have it! I'll make a video soon of this game in action with some other side projects I've been messing about with... Coming up next, I hope to document the sounds and music of the game! So stay tuned for that.
